There is so much more known today about child development then we knew 10, 20 or 30 years ago. Leading scholars in neuroscience, developmental psychology, and pediatrics are continuing to reveal why it is important for parents and caregivers to learn what best supports children’s healthy development.

Understanding the stages of child development can serve as an invaluable guide to parents on how best to nurture their child’s social health, cognitive development, and emotional well-being as they progress from infancy to young adulthood.

The websites listed above provide a wealth of information and parenting tips on what we can do to promote healthy child development and great relationships with the children in our lives.

What a child’s brain needs most is adults that understand development.
